Following is the information advertisers need to know about having inserts added to the Advocate:

In order to better handle inserts, we request that all materials that are sent for insertion be labeled and addressed as follows:

Ø   PREPRINT RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS
1.       Preprints need to be in-house seven (7) days prior to publication but not more then fourteen (14) days prior.
2.       All boxes/pallets should have the following information on them:
a.      Preprint name
b.      ORLANDO ADVOCATE
c.      Insertion date
d.      Quantity per box/skid and total quantity shipped
e.      Number of boxes/skids in shipment
3.       Multiple publication dates must be treated as separate preprints with their own marked pallets and receiving paperwork.
4.       Skidded preprints need to be stacked on non-refundable skids not to exceed 44"X48".
5.       All preprints should be well jogged and "brick" stacked. No products should overhang the bottom stack.
6.       All turns of the preprints should not be less then 4" and not more than 12".
PEPRINT GUIDELINES
Heart of Florida Printing strives to give a quality distribution of each customer's preprint. You can help us achieve a good distribution percentile by insuring that your product meets the requirements below:
1.       Products on newsprint or equal weight paper stock should be a minimum of four (4) broadsheet pages or eight (8) tabloid pages.
2.       Single sheet products should be on a minimum 75 pound non-porous cover stock. Not responsible for multiples if underweight paper used.
3.       Minimum preprint thickness is .012"
4.       Maximum size accepted is 12 ½" across the spine (folded edge) X 11 ¼ "
5.       Minimum accepted size is 7" X 5".
6.       Free sample attached preprints are generally not accepted but they will be evaluated on an individual bases after successfully test running them.
There should be nothing like cards, envelopes, coupons, etc attached to the outside of the preprint.
Preprints not meeting the above may be accepted after determining their ability to run on Heart of Florida equipment.
