Diabetes: A Deeper Look was developed by theDetroit Science Center Designs and Exhibits and made possible by support from sanofi-aventis U.S.  For U.S. residents only.

Feel the Beat

As soon as you walk through the 40-foot blood vessel at Diabetes: A Deeper Look, you can feel the energy. As you dive into the wonders of a 16 x 16-foot cell, lit up with 40,000 lights and the pulsating sound of a heartbeat, you learn the important role that insulinhas in the body.

Discover the Facts

Whether you have diabetes or know someone who does, or just want to learn more, Diabetes: A Deeper Look is a unique educational experience. The exhibit is filled with a collection of interactive displays, informative tools, and hands-on activities for you to explore and discover about diabetes.

The 2,500 square-foot exhibit is designed to give you a deeper look at diabetes.
