On Thursday, August 26, 2010, 20 members of the local minority media in a roundtable discussion received a project update from Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Board Members of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, Janeiro Coulter, Blueprint Special Project Manager, Veronica Anderson, President Anderson & Associates, P.A. and Fitzhugh Long, Balfour Beatty Purpose Partner. When the project is complete the arts center will include two performance theaters, a community theater, outdoor plaza, rehearsal rooms, administrative offices, and educational programming space.

Orange County, Fl., Orange County Firefighters are working a vehicle accident involving a semi trailer on I-4 and Fairbanks Ave. At 2:00 a.m. Orange County dispatchers received multiple calls for an accident on Interstate 4.

On Thursday, August 26, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer led a team of City staff members and community volunteers as they provided Florida ID cards, driver’s licenses, birth certificates, Social Security cards and other documents to the area’s impoverished and homeless citizens.
