Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts – Stage 2

THE WHITING-TURNER CONTRACTING COMPANY

Project consists of selective demolition to existing structure and constructing approximately 128,000 SF structure with an acoustical performance hall north of existing Stage 1 facility. Trades required include, but are not limited to, temporary systems, demolition, surveying, structural & site concrete, drilled piers, masonry, structural/misc. steel, guardrail/handrail, decorative metals, millwork, roofing, waterproofing, insulation,
pedestal pavers, expansion joints, fireproofing, interior/exterior doors, glass/glazing, framing, drywall, paint, ACT, interior stone/tile, flooring, restroom partitions/accessories, signage, building maintenance equipment, theatrical equipment, adjustable acoustics, food service equipment, mechanical shades, curtains, audience seating, building and MEP systems acoustical isolation, vertical transportation, fire protection, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, low voltage, grading/excavation, sheet piles, auger cast piles, secant wall, landscaping, asphalt/concrete paving, striping and site utilities.

ALL QUESTIONS OF THE BID DOCUMENTS SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING BEFORE 4PM EST OCTOBER 17, 2016, TO STEWART GROSS, AT Stewart.Gross@Whiting-Turner.com.

STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS IS REQUIRED TO BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO OR WITH BID PROPOSAL(S).
BID DOCUMENTS WILL BE ISSUED TO SUBCONTRACTORS ON OCTOBER 10TH. BIDS MUST BE DELIVERED IN A SEALED ENVELOPE ON OR BEFORE NOVEMBER 4th, 2016 BY 5:00PM OR WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

BIDS NOT SEALED WILL BE RETURNED.

Proposers shall comply with the Blueprint Initiative requirements, which include, but are not limited to, MBE/WBE subcontractor participation and Blueprint Workforce Development Program.

Proposers shall pay its workers and require its Subcontractors to pay their workers on this project an hourly rate, based on classification for the Orlando region established by the Davis-Bacon Act.
