Payton Gendron, the 19-year-old white supremacist accused of killing 10 Black people at a Buffalo, New York supermarket last May is expected to plead guilty to all charges, including murder, at a hearing set for next week.
Terrence Connors, an attorney for one of the victim’s family said Gendron‘s lawyers met with the district attorney three weeks ago and advised that Gendron had decided to change his plea to guilty. They then met with a judge to set a change-of-plea hearing. According to Connors there is no plea deal in place.
The hearing is scheduled for Monday at 2 p.m. at the Erie County Courthouse in Buffalo.
