Orange County’s new Automated Curbside Collection Program will begin on January 1, 2016. Among the changes, which include once-a-week collections, residents will also see a change in the way they dispose of their garbage and recyclables.
On Monday, October 19, residents began receiving their county-issued, 95-gallon roll carts to be used to collect their household garbage and recyclables. Delivery of the carts will continue through mid-December.
Orange County Commissioners strapped on their safety vests and helped assemble and deliver the carts to selected neighborhoods in their districts
