Farmers in Zimbabwe unpick relationship with cotton

Once considered white gold because of the high prices it fetched on world markets, Zimbabwe’s cotton – often used in high-end clothing because of its glistening white and silky texture – is on the wane.
Lower prices have forced thousands of small scale farmers to migrate to other crops.
