Boat capsizes on Lake Victoria

A boat has capsized on the Kenyan section of Lake Victoria, with lives feared lost in the accident.

Reports indicate that more than 200 people were on board.

The accident occurred after a collision, said the Kenyan newspaper Daily Nation.

It quoted fishermen as putting the death toll at nine, with police saying two children had died.
