The World Athletics Championships will get under way in Beijing on Saturday. One of Kenya’s top medal hopes is 26-year-old javelin thrower Julius Yego.

He is already the reigning Commonwealth champion and African record holder. He told the BBC he taught himself to throw the javelin by watching YouTube videos.
