Andy Murray seals Great Britain’s first Davis Cup semi-final in 34 years with
a dramatic victory over France’s Gilles Simon
at Queen’s Club.
Murray looked exhausted when he trailed by a set and a break, but he hit back to win 4-6 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 6-0.
The world number three’s second singles victory gave Britain an unassailable 3-1 lead in the best-of-five tie.
Britain will host Australia in the semi-finals on 18-20 September, with a venue to be chosen by early August.
