Commissioner Siplin’s Holiday Blessings at the Park provides toys and bikes to over 350 children

This Christmas event provided toys for over 350 children, ages 2-10 and raffledoff 20 bikes and scooters along with safety helmets. 

ORANGE COUNTY, FL – On Saturday, December 15, 2018, Orange County Commissioner Victoria P. Siplin hosted, “Holiday Blessings At The Park, A Family Affair,” at Barnett Park, located at 4801 West Colonial Drive from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.  The family affair offered interactive games, storytelling,music, food and face painting at the scenic Barnett Park.

Children will not go without this Christmas thanks to the generous event partners: Siplin Law, P.A.,Orange County Parks and Recreation, CFHLA, I-Drive Area Resort Chamber of Commerce, IAFF Local 2057,Orange County Citizen’s Commission for Children, the Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida, Bogin, Munns &Munns, Our Children Our Impact, Islamic Center of Orlando, Jewel’s Family Success Center, Lanes Inc., SavingOur Daughters, City of Life Ministries, Grace Bible of Central Florida, City Year Orlando, and Walk-Ride-Thrive.

This is Commissioner Siplin’ s fourth year hosting the Holiday Blessings At The Park; she looks forward tomore event partners so that she may be a blessing to more families next year.

“I want to bring families together and help safeguard the Christmas tradition of community, giving and holiday cheers,” Siplin said.
