Entertainment Weekly has reported that Jada Pinkett Smith will return to Gotham during its second season in the persona of Fish Mooney. Yesss!
More than a few fans of the program have been scratching their heads trying to figure out when and how she would make her return. Gotham without Fish Mooney is, well . . . aggravating. Some of us never really saw her being thrown off the roof as an end to her character. After all, she was thrown into a river, where fish don’t die– they multiply.
We can only assume she will have been rescued by some passing barge or something and that maybe she lost her memory for a while (ok, so this scenario sounds way too much like what happened to Jason Bourne). Anyway, one thing is for sure. Fish will be gunning for the guy who tried to kill her– Penguin.
