William Banks Jr., 74, a retired Staff Sergeant for over 27 years in the United States Air Force, passed Wednesday, April 7, 2015 in Panama City.
William was a Mason and former employee for over 10 years at Lockheed in Texas. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 15 at the funeral home. Family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories his son: Robert Banks; daughter: Nicole Van Trease; granddaughter: Nicoya Van Trease; great grandchild: Nico Robertson; siblings: Alice Cofield, Pastor Portia Tibbs, both of Cleveland, Ohio, Cynthia Maynor of Dallas, Texas, and Derrick Meeks of Cleveland, Ohio; devoted friend: Esse Jones of Panama City, Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: William Banks Sr. and Geraldine Meeks; brother: Oscar A. Meeks.
