10-year-old basketball phenom Jaden Newman is somebody basketball fans will want to key an eye on. The super-talented 5th-grader has gained national attention for her incredible ankle-breaking moves and for recently becoming the youngest basketball recruit in history.
Buckets Blakes of the Harlem Globetrotters recently invited Jaden to participate in part of their game last Saturday at the Amway Center here in Orlando.
Jaden has serious skills. This season, the young phenom is averaging an awesome 31.5 points per game, 10.1 assists and 6.2 steals, ranking her among the best varsity girl players in the nation. And, don’t shout it too loud, but she recently went toe-to-toe with NBA star Stephen Curry, and best him in a 3-point shoot-out.
