REQUEST FOR STATEMENTS OF QUALIFICATIONS FOR MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL/PLUMBING CONTRACTORS
FOR SOUTH TERMINAL C, PHASE 1 AT THE ORLANDO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL/PLUMBING Contractors are invited to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) to perform MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL/PLUMBING CONTRACTING SERVICES to Turner-Kiewit Joint Venture (CMAR) for the South Terminal C, Phase 1 at the Orlando International Airport.
The Project includes landside terminal building improvements and infrastructure required or related thereto, such as sitework, roadways and other transportation and utilities infrastructure, site utilities, landscaping, lighting, walkways, pedestrian bridges, and any other work requested by the Authority to facilitate or complete the Project.
The CMAR intends to select one or more Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Contractors for the Project. The CMAR (with Authority approval) will select a shortlist of three or more proposers who will be invited to submit a proposal for the Project. The CMAR may (upon Authority approval) enter into a non-exclusive contract with the contractor whose proposal is the most advantageous to the Authority, Cost and other factors considered.
TK invites prime subcontractors to complete and submit Turner’s prequalification. The pre-qualification process can be found at TK’s Project website, http://www.tkgoaa.com. The website will contain all announcements and any associated dates regarding the South Terminal C, Landside Project.
Turner-Kiewit is committed to exceeding GOAA’s MWBE, DBE, LDB/VBE goals on the project. Goals will be established for each scope of work to maximize MWBE, DBE, LDB/VBE participation. We invite and encourage MWBE, DBE, LDB/VBEs to bid.
A Pre-Submittal Conference will be held at 2:00 PM, local time, on July 11, 2018, in the ALPHA CONFERENCE ROOM, 11148 CANAL ROAD, ORLANDO, FL. The Submission Requirements, Addenda, Requests for Information Responses and Pre-Submittal Conference minutes will be published online at the CMAR’s Building Connected file-sharing website. An Information Letter will be published on Building Connected if the Pre-Submittal Conference date, time or location is changed.
Shortlisted proposers shall submit a Proposal at or before 2:00 PM, local time, July 18, 2018, to 11140 CANAL ROAD, ORLANDO, FL. Only Proposals submitted by shortlisted proposers will be opened. Proposals submitted by any other parties will not be opened. Any Proposal received after the Proposal Deadline will not be considered and will be returned unopened. Proposals shall be submitted in sealed packages clearly labeled: “MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL/PLUMBING CONTRACTOR PROPOSAL.”
