*Black Lives Matter protestors crashed the wedding of one of the two officers who shot and killed Stephon Clark y Saturday, according to CBS Sacramento.
Even though police refused to release the names of the two officers involved in shooting Clark eight times on March 18 in his grandmother’s backyard, their names were disclosed by prominent Oakland civil rights attorney John Burris, according to the Sacramento Bee.
Black Lives Matter founder Tanya Faison is unapologetic about the group’s actions.
“I think they need to be approached in spaces where they’re a little more vulnerable,” she told CBS Sacramento. “We’re not violent, we’re not gonna give to them what they brought to our community, we’re not gonna hurt anyone but we are gonna make them uncomfortable. And they should [be uncomfortable], because someone is dead.”
“Stephon Clark’s family is still in mourning and suffering. He doesn’t get to be with his kids or get married,” Faison said.
