As Central Florida reflects on the weeks since the Pulse shooting, Disney Cast Members have poured their hearts into helping the community heal. A team of Cast Members recently worked with the Orange County Board of Commissioners to open the Orlando United Assistance Center. Using their unique talents, the team transformed a vacant clinic into a warm, welcoming space for Pulse victims’ families in less than 24 hours.
In addition, Disney Cast Members have added to The Walt Disney Company’s $1 million donation to the OneOrlando Fund with their own contributions, which the is matching dollar for dollar. “We are heartbroken by this tragedy and hope our commitment will help those in the community affected by this senseless act,” said Bob Chapek, chairman, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.
