There’s just not much to say about what Donald Trump Jr tweeted yesterday.  First, though, it’s important to take into consideration another tweet that he posted on October 29:

  Oct 29

Two days later, on Halloween evening, he posted a picture of his daughter, Chloe, after returning from trick-or-treating. He was making some sort of back-handed political statement about the “haves” sharing with the “have-nots,” while taking an esoteric jab at government assistance programs. He tweeted: “I’m going to take half of Chloe’s candy tonight & give it to some kid who sat at home. It’s never to early to teach her about socialism.”

The response to his tweet was immediate and on-going.  Probably more than 30,000 people responded– and few of them thought Don Jr. was thinking clearly.  The Huffington Post lists a number of the wide-ranging replies.  Take a look. You might want to post a reply yourself.

It was certainly not the brightest thing he could have done. Not even #therealDonaldTrump can make these tweets go away. But then, it was Don Jr who said: “Life is hard; it’s even harder when you’re stupid.”

It’s not a term I’d prefer to use, but I think I agree. So, yeah DJ.  Yeah, it is.
