    The City of Orlando’s Historic Preservation Board is seeking photographs capturing the beauty of the built historic streetscape and landscape enhancements in the city to feature in its 2019 calendar. With multiple historic neighborhoods and more than 50 local and national historic landmarks throughout the city, the 2019 theme will celebrate Orlando’s historic streetscape and landscape features.
    To continue to support historic preservation efforts, the city has produced the popular Historic Preservation Board Calendar since 1991 as a depiction of Orlando’s treasured historic resources and is currently seeking photographs for the 2019 calendar.
    CALENDAR CONTEST SPECIFICS:
    In order to photos to qualify, they must include streetscape and landscape features including bricked streets, decorative fences or fates, bridges, paths, arbors, fountains, statues, monuments, street lighting, or other constructed enhancements throughout the city’s historic neighborhoods, districts, historic downtown business district, Leu Gardens, Greenwood Cemetery, Lake Eola Park, Dickson-Azalea Park and Orwin Manor Park.
    A $100 honorarium will be awarded to each photographer whose picture is selected for the 2019 Historic Preservation Board Calendar, sponsored by McCoy Federal Credit Union.
    HOW TO SUBMIT:
    ·       Up to three photographs can be submitted per photographer
    ·       Photographs must be black and white and printed on 8” X 10” or 8 ½ X 11” photo paper with a white border
    ·       Vertical or horizontal photographs are acceptable
    ·       Each photograph must be labeled on the back with:
    o   Photographer name
    o   Daytime telephone number
    o   E-mail address
    o   Address of the subject
    o   Site address label
    Photos not labeled with a site address will be disqualified*
    WHEN:
    Contest submissions must be delivered or postmarked by July 13, 2018 at 5 p.m.
    WHERE:
    Hand-deliver photographs to the Historic Preservation Office on the 6th floor of Orlando City Hall, 400 South Orange Avenue or mail them to the Historic Preservation Office, P.O. Box 44990, 400 South Orange Avenue, Orlando, FL 32802.
