Orlando, Florida – Curry Ford West is excited to announce the return of one of its most heartwarming and inspiring community events—the 5th Annual Little Entrepreneur Fair, taking place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 12 PM to 4 PM in the gymnasium of the Dover Shores Neighborhood Center.
This unique event provides young business owners ages 18 and under the opportunity to showcase their creativity, sharpen their customer service skills, and experience what it means to be a small business owner. From baked goods and handmade crafts to original artwork, tech gadgets, and even services like pet sitting and babysitting, last year’s participants wowed the crowd with their talent and ambition.
Returning this year are community favorites like Charlie’s Bakery and Creamery, serving up fresh cotton candy, and a special visit from the Orlando Fire Department. The event also features raffles, music, food vendors, and local market booths with kid-friendly merchandise, all inside a fully indoor venue that ensures rain or shine fun.
This year’s event is chaired by Emma Thalasinos, a long-time Curry Ford West volunteer and newly appointed board member who got her start as a Little Entrepreneur herself—selling handmade stickers at this very event five years ago.
Gracen Craig, a young entrepreneur who participated in last year’s event, shared:
“I can’t wait for this all year. Me and my friends made so much money last year that we got to buy stuff there. It’s really fun and exciting!”
“The Little Entrepreneur Fair is one of the most popular events we host in Curry Ford West, and for good reason. It’s truly amazing to see the creativity and ingenuity our community’s youngest business owners bring to the table. The same encouragement and support we offer to our Main Street businesses every day is echoed in our commitment to these future entrepreneurs. Their ideas may be small in size, but their impact is huge,” says Stephanie Ziglar, Executive Director of Curry Ford West.
Curry Ford West is currently seeking sponsors to help support this event. Local businesses and individuals can contribute by sponsoring a booth, providing items for swag bags, or donating raffle prizes. Registration is still open for Little Entrepreneurs who want to join. Booth fees are $15 for all participants, ages 18 and under. General admission is free, and all community members are encouraged to attend and shop small with our youngest business owners.
