The A-bike was originally designed by Sir Clive Sinclair, the inventor of the very popular, 1980s, 8-bit computer ZX Spectrum and the not so popular C5 electric bike.

It was designed to be the world’s smallest bike which could fold away in seconds.

Ten years after its initial launch, the A-bike is now fitted with a battery and an electric motor. It has a range of 16 miles (25.7km) and can cruise at a top speeds of 12mph (19.3km/h).

BBC Click‘s Marc Cieslak was the first journalist to take the new bike for a test ride.
